Your New Role
As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the team to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the acquisition, onboarding, and retention phases. Your duties and responsibilities include:
- Mentoring and training branch staff to provide excellent customer service levels;
- Guiding the Customer Service Team to reach their Annual GP & Margin targets for allocated clients;
- Implementing the Client Contact Plan (CCP) including Phone Calls, Zoom Calls & Client Visits to ensure agreed targets are met individually and collectively;
- Achieving speed of invoicing targets and maintaining WIPs and Accruals at agreed levels;
- Spearheading the implementation of MyHub+ and Cyberfreight among Customer Service staff and ensuring a successful transition;
- Working with the Sales Team on onboarding new clients for seamless transitions from sales to customer services;
- Joining the Customer Service Team on Existing Client Calls to review and oversee service levels and address any issues;
- Providing timely advice to the State Director on company or client matters as relevant;
- Working towards a 95% score on Customer Satisfaction Index for the State's client base;
- Maintaining high standards of service to Clients for which you remain the Portfolio Manager as applicable;
- Ensuring all Brokerage Jobs are managed by the Branch Customer Service Team within the CCP;
- Assisting the State Director with annual staff reviews for your team;
- Supporting AR Collections as needed;
- Participating in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.
What You Will Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics with 5+ years' experience in the Logistics Industry or equivalent experience (10 years);
- Effective multitasking skills with comfort taking on responsibility;
- Customer Service Management experience;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Problem-solving skills with a creative approach;
- Driver's license with frequent domestic travel requirements.
