You will work closely with participants to understand their strengths, goals, and aspirations, providing tailored support to empower them to achieve their employment objectives.
As a Meaningful Employment Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality employment services using evidence-based approaches such as the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model.
- Building strong relationships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities for participants.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive support for participants' wellbeing.
- Monitoring outcomes, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or a related field.
- Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with participants, their supports, and employers.
- Business development skills and local employer connections would be highly regarded.
