Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team and contribute to delivering workplace injury prevention, return to work or life and disability support solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations. You will evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.

  • You will also support clients with chronic illness, injury or disability to achieve independence and fulfill their goals.
  • Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
  • Perform activities of daily living assessments and recommending assistive technology under a range of contracts.
  • Complete workplace modifications assessment under the National Panel of Assessors contract (requires minimum two years disability employment experience).

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Professional registration with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
