About the Role

RPS Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our client-side delivery of large complex projects in Cairns. This exciting opportunity offers leadership, ownership, scope, collaboration, autonomy, challenges, and management of delivering significant projects with valued clients.

As an established project management professional, you will have the chance to take a key role in the delivery of infrastructure and building construction projects as well as managing client relationships.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in design/project management, engineering, construction management, or similar; and have:

  1. 10+ years project management experience
  2. Demonstrated recent project experience involving civil, open space, and/or sporting infrastructure roles
  3. A strong understanding and proven experience in managing contracts, contract administration, and design and approvals management
  4. Very strong stakeholder management, communications, and leadership skills
  5. Expertise in collaborating with various government agencies to successfully execute complex projects
  6. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  7. Australian citizenship and holding or successfully obtaining and retaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance
  8. AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably
  9. A reasonable level of fitness is required to perform the role
