About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Cairns-based team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful infrastructure and building construction projects, as well as managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and building construction projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Manage contracts, contract administration, and design approvals processes to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with government agencies to successfully execute complex projects
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in design/project management, engineering, construction management or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure and building construction
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing contracts, contract administration, and design approvals
  • Strong stakeholder management, communications, and leadership skills
  • Expertise in collaborating with government agencies
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Australian citizenship and holding or successfully obtaining and retaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably
