About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Gordonvale, Cairns, QLD. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project, delivering a new drinking water supply to the Cairns community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective monitoring and reporting of Project Controls processes.
  • Interface with project team members, partners, clients, stakeholders, consultants, designers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Proactively lead a planning and controls culture across the project.
  • Identify issues and opportunities and communicate them to the project team.
  • Implement project monitoring systems, focusing on time, cost, resources, and quality.
  • Support project managers in report interpretation and analysis of project performance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
  • Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Planner on a major infrastructure project.
  • Demonstrated application of planning principles.
  • Proficiency in planning software and tools, including Primavera Project Planning and Earned Value Analysis.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
