We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Gordonvale, Cairns, QLD. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project, delivering a new drinking water supply to the Cairns community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective monitoring and reporting of Project Controls processes.
- Interface with project team members, partners, clients, stakeholders, consultants, designers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Proactively lead a planning and controls culture across the project.
- Identify issues and opportunities and communicate them to the project team.
- Implement project monitoring systems, focusing on time, cost, resources, and quality.
- Support project managers in report interpretation and analysis of project performance.
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
- Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Planner on a major infrastructure project.
- Demonstrated application of planning principles.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, including Primavera Project Planning and Earned Value Analysis.
