Complex Case Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Case Manager to join our team in Melbourne CBD.

This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $90,067 to $102,192 per annum, plus superannuation.

As a Complex Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting community safety by managing complex offenders with drug and alcohol dependencies who have been sentenced by the Drug Court division of the Magistrates Court.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of offenders with a range of order requirements aimed at reducing their risk of reoffending;
  • Conducting risk assessments, preparing case plans, providing interventions, and addressing the underlying causes of offending;
  • Directing and monitoring compliance with offender's court order obligations;

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing highly complex/high-profile caseloads, including proven assessment and intervention skills;
  • Experience working in a legislative framework;
  • Assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours;
  • Capability to produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines;

A relevant qualification in social work, human services, criminal justice, or criminology, or experience in a related field, is also desirable.
