About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As an Advanced Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex offenders on court orders who have completed part of their sentence in custody.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering dynamic practice in the case management of offenders with complex needs and those who have committed serious offences

- Using evidence-based frameworks to ensure effective assessment, planning, intervention and review

- Motivating and influencing individuals in the case management process, modelling pro-social behaviours and drawing on offender strengths-based approaches

- Contributing to a strengthened and integrated through-care approach for offenders transitioning from prison onto court orders

Required skills and qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

- Strong communication skills, where you can adapt your style accordingly

- A non-judgemental attitude, treating offenders with respect as members of our community

- Ability to work in a team environment, assisting other team members to work on shared goals

- Strong stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels

- Exposure to complex groups such as homelessness, drug and alcohol, and child protection
