Multidisciplinary Case Management Specialist

At the Assessment and Referral Court, our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to supporting participants with complex mental health needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution by providing case management support to individuals who require holistic and collaborative care.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in case management, preferably in forensic, family violence, AOD, homelessness and/or mental health contexts. They will also have the ability to coach and mentor junior case managers, establish effective working relationships with stakeholders, and communicate effectively in court settings.

This role demands expertise in client-centred, strengths-based, and solution-focused support approaches. The successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for participants.

  • Tertiary qualifications (diploma level highly desirable) and/or relevant case management experience are essential requirements for this role.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate capacity for coaching and mentoring junior case managers, particularly those with an area of advanced knowledge and experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are critical for establishing strong working relationships with the judiciary, legal professionals, and service/court staff.
