Insurance Claim Resolution Expert

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Claims Specialist to join our growing team.
- Oversee and action claims in conjunction with support teams and internal administrators/advisers.
- Provide professional claims handling service, delivering high-level client experience throughout the claims process.
- Resolving insurance claims efficiently, minimizing impact on clients.
- Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Liaise with stakeholders and third parties to achieve prompt outcomes for clients.
- Manage client expectations, insurers, assessors, repairers, and other relevant parties.
- Assist clients with emergency repairs.
- Collaborate in redeveloping and implementing business claims processes.
- Investigate complaints/issues and report/resolve with management teams.
- Proven experience managing commercial insurance claims, particularly property, liability, construction, engineering, strata, and motor/plant.
- Knowledge and understanding of principles/procedures for managing insurance claims.
- Responsive/collaborative, committed to individual/team outcomes.
- Excellent customer experience through all interactions with clients.
- Good attention to detail.
- Effective written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, assessing providing solutions.
- Good time management/prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage client insurer stakeholder expectations.
- Empathetic/supportive approach to dealing with clients.
- Broad knowledge of general/commercial/domestic insurance products.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and various insurer systems/portals.
- Knowledge of claims regulations/legislations.
- Hold Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance or Diploma of Insurance Broking.
