Based in Sydney, NSW, this pivotal role will play a key part in the development of new business and strategic sales within the NSW South region. You will be responsible for managing and leading a portfolio of accounts, driving new sales opportunities, and supporting national accounts as required.

This is a dynamic role that requires a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational, time management, and prioritising skills. As our Sales Engineer, you will work autonomously while bringing together customers and internal departments to deliver a fantastic outcome.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Meet annual sales targets through new business development and existing customers within the food, dairy, beverage, and industrial products industries;
  2. Prospect for new opportunities through cold calling and generate new customer relationships within the assigned territory;
  3. Execute high-level daily face-to-face customer interaction;
  4. Grow territory revenue and market share and achieve sales targets;
  5. Develop a sales plan that effectively and efficiently cover all accounts/verticals;
  6. Manage existing customer accounts and enhance customer satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Experience at sales forecasting and negotiation skills;
  • A clear understanding of the market and competitors;
  • Experienced customer & relationship management skills;
  • The ability to uncover clients' needs through a consultative approach;
  • Experience in lead and funnel management;
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Sales-driven, results-oriented, and a team player.

We offer a competitive salary of AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses and a yearly merit increase based on performance. Other benefits include:
