Technical Support Specialist - Product Configuration

The role of the Technical Support Specialist - Product Configuration is crucial in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This position interfaces between Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to interpret sales requirements and convert customer orders into production orders.

  • To guarantee timely delivery of registered and processed work orders with a 3-day turnaround based on due dates.
  • Configure product bill of materials using SAP variant configurator.
  • Verify that all work order deliverables and requirements are met.
  • Provide information required for creation material masters in SAP for any special parts or parts that require certification.
  • Raise purchase requisitions for purchased items.
  • Manage amendments of work orders with a 2-day turnaround based on due dates.
  • Maintain the SAP variant configurator.

Key qualifications include:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

This role requires strong technical skills, interpersonal skills, and business acumen. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and provide excellent support to the team.
