Configuration Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing analysis of business requirements and developing configuration specifications for system changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, test and document specifications for configuration system changes
  • Provide specialist expertise on configuration design criteria to Business, Technical Analysts, developers and test analysts
  • Attend business and technical meetings to facilitate or understand configuration solution outcomes
  • Ensure configuration solution design meets business requirements and is business approved
  • Assist with SDLC testing phases to provide clarifications and respond to enquiries
  • Escalated production support issues and conduct root cause analysis
  • Logging and accessing configuration solutions within the JIRA database and thoroughly documenting the status of all client liaisons and communications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years BA/Admin experience in Superannuation and/or Insurance
  • Business and/or Business Analysis product knowledge in Superannuation, Pension, Defined Benefit and Redundancy Funds desirable
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles including Waterfall and AGILE methodologies, system design best practices
  • Experience working in an outsourced or offshored environment
  • Understanding of business drivers impacting IT systems and client-focused deliverables
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in IT or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
