Job Description

As a registered nurse, you will be providing high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person-centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

You will act as team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team, ensuring best practice nursing procedures are followed.

Working in a safe manner is essential, protecting yourself, your colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Current registration with AHPRA, following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
