Job Title: Registered Nurse

As a registered nurse, you will be providing high-quality care to residents in our residential aged care home. Your role will involve providing direct clinical nursing care, acting as a team leader, and working in a safe manner to protect yourself and others.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
  • Act as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues.
  • Strong coaching/training skills.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Competent IT skills.
