Personal Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Professional to join our team. As a Personal Care Professional, you will provide holistic care to clients in their own homes, working closely with our Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality care.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's care team to identify care needs and develop tailored care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain accurate daily client records and report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005] certifications.
  • A roadworthy vehicle with a current driver's licence.
  • Federal Police Clearance within the last 6 months.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy for elderly clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
