Job Title: Groups Reservations Supervisor

Overview:

This role will oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. Additionally, it involves communicating company values and/or culture to new employees and reviewing and implementing new reservations procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Determine guest reservation needs and select appropriate room types.
  • Verify availability of room type and rate.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
  • Accommodate and document special requests.
  • Provide information about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
  • Maximize revenue through effective sales techniques.
  • Input and access data in reservation systems.
  • Resolve and document guest issues and concerns.
  • Set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.

Requirements:

A successful candidate will require a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of related experience, and 1 year of supervisory experience.
