Reservations Team Lead Position

About the Role
This role will lead a team and support the Commercial Director to execute a strategic market plan. The successful candidate will work alongside colleagues to maximise revenue opportunities and ensure all reservations duties are carried out accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the reservations department in line with standard operating procedures.
- Manage group bookings, ensuring groups blocks are entered correctly and deposits are managed.
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business.
- Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate.
- Collect and allocate payments towards group masters.
Requirements
- Good organisational and administration skills.
- Minimum one year previous experience in reservations within a hotel.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven selling capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of IT skills, including Excel and Word.
