About This Role
">WA Country Health Service is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the clinical and daily management of patient services, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources in a Day Surgery Ward setting.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Undertake clinical duties as required, including patient assessments, treatment planning and implementation.
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the ward, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
">The successful candidate will possess:
">- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in coordinating clinical activities and managing budgets.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evening and weekend shifts, and participate in on-call arrangements as required.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research.
