Clinical Nurse Director

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at a prestigious aged care facility.
As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents. This will involve working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that all services are delivered in a manner that maintains residents' quality of life and respects their individual rights.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a comprehensive working knowledge of Legislation governing aged care. They will also have experience in a leadership role in aged care and be able to identify changes in residents' care needs in support of appropriate AN-ACC classification and funding.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee clinical and care services to ensure high-quality, person-centered care
- Collaborate with the Residential Manager and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Provide clinical leadership and coordinate resident care
- Facilitate the delivery of person-centered services at the site
- Monitor and minimise clinical risk and meet clinical quality KPIs
- Review and investigation of clinical incidents
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Relevant postgraduate studies desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in aged care
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork
- A comprehensive working knowledge of Legislation governing aged care
- Demonstrated working knowledge of continuous improvement, the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding, assessment processes, and care planning
- Knowledge of OSH requirements in a healthcare setting
