Nurse Specialist

This is a permanent part-time, full-time or casual appointment at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking clinical and daily management of quality patient services through efficient and effective utilisation of human, physical, material and fiscal resources within specialised areas such as Day Surgery Ward.
About the Role
The Clinical Nurse will undertake critical care and comprehensive assessment of patients to provide high-quality patient-centered care and manage the delivery of quality patient services effectively. This role also involves provision of health education and promotion of healthy lifestyles to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- To coordinate patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- To assess patient needs and develop individualised care plans
- To provide evidence-based nursing practice and promote health and well-being of patients
