The 80 bed site takes pride in a homely atmosphere and community feel.
Ongoing close relationships are built between long-term staff, residents, their families, and the local community.Whilst working in this rewarding role as our Clinical Nurse Manager you will oversee clinical and care services, collaborating with the Residential Manager and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, coordinate resident care, and facilitate the delivery of person-centered services at the site.
Working with the Residential Manager and Allied Health practitioners, you will ensure all services are delivered in a manner that maintains residents' quality of life and respects their individual rights.This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.Key ResponsibilitiesComprehensive clinical assessment and review of resident care needsFacilitate and coordinate the admission process for new residentsProvide leadership and promote a collaborative approach to clinical and care staff to ensure delivery of person-centred careActively support and work cohesively with the clinical care and allied health teamProvide comprehensive review and oversight of residents' care needs and outcomesMonitor and minimise clinical risk and meet clinical quality KPIsIdentify changes in residents care needs in support of appropriate AN -ACC classification and fundingIdentify and support the development and clinical capability of the clinical care teamReview and investigation of clinical incidentsKey RequirementsCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRARelevant postgraduate studies - desirableDemonstrated experience in a leadership role in aged careStrong communication, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and team workA comprehensive working knowledge of Legislation governing aged care including best practice guidelines and other relevant professional codes of practiceDemonstrated working knowledge of continuous improvement, the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding, assessment processes and care planningKnowledge of OSH requirements in a health care settingSatisfactorily pass all relevant Key Personnel checks including Bankruptcy and Police ClearanceWhat's On OfferAttractive remuneration $62.33 per hour, plus 12% superannuationRelocation and accommodation assistance availableNon-profit values driven Western Australian aged care providerAll employees have access to Juniperks an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgementSalary Packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax freeHealth Insurance discountsEmployee Assistance Program with free counsellingHow To ApplyDon't miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role
