The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage service in both functions and the restaurant. This position leads a team of individuals in various roles within the food and beverage service, collaborating on menu and beverage offerings, and contributing to menu planning and pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Food and Beverage Service Management: Ensure seamless food and beverage service operations in both functions and the restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes excellence and teamwork.
- Menu Planning and Pricing: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement menu offerings, taking into account customer preferences, market trends, and operational requirements.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, placing orders for food and beverages as needed, and maintaining accurate records to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities for staff members, helping them grow professionally and personally, and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Customer Experience: Foster a culture of excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a food and beverage outlet at a team leader or supervisor level is essential for this role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, specifically Opera and Shiji, is required.
- Soft Skills: Ability to resolve issues and address guest concerns effectively, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding service quality and presentation standards.
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
