Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of North/South Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, dosas, and traditional breads.
  • Plan and design menus, ensuring a diverse range of options while maintaining authenticity.
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to meet high standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, inventory, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to kitchen procedures.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality (mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role, specializing in North Indian cuisine.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen management principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage kitchen staff effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for high-quality cooking.
