About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Partnership Development Manager to join our team at TransVirtual. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating a pipeline of partnership contacts that can help resell our logistics solutions.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for building relationships across a range of consultancies and other partners to service the varying needs of our total addressable market. You will need to be adept at sourcing and following up opportunities to meet sales targets, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The role is primarily focused on new business, but a key aspect of the role will be enablement to ensure smooth onboarding as well as existing customer product adoption. You will work closely with our Head of Sales and General Manager to drive your initiatives to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate new business opportunities through partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at consultancies and other partners
  • Source and follow up on new business opportunities to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with our sales team to ensure smooth onboarding and existing customer product adoption
  • Provide regular updates and insights to our leadership team on partnership development progress
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in logistics
  • Sales experience, ideally in partnerships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in managing a contact pipeline – CRM updates (we use HubSpot)
  • Networking experience to connect with business owners and managers
  • A proven talent for opening doors and negotiating strategic deals
