Strategic Partnership Executive

As a strategic partnership executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining key relationships with major OEMs and Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) such as HPE, Dell, IBM, Lenovo, Ericsson, Cisco, Fujitsu and many more. These partnerships are crucial to Canonical's success and enable the company to deliver software-defined solutions that capitalize on global open source mandates.

Your primary focus will be on growing Canonical's market share and attach rate through HPE. You will work closely with HPE teams to build trust and drive business interactions across various personas, from engineers to C-level executives. This may involve running customer workshops, attending sales events, giving public presentations, and participating in executive engagements coordinated by the Senior Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strategic relationships with HPE and other key partners
  • Grow Canonical's market share and attach rate through HPE
  • Evangelize the partnership and drive business interactions across various personas
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and expand existing footprint with HPE customers

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, sales acumen, and ability to build and manage a pipeline of business. You should also be autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, and able to get things done in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as team player with superior accountability and customer support skills.
