At W Melbourne, we're seeking a highly skilled Reservations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate company values and culture to new employees. You will also review and implement new Reservations procedures, process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations, and verify availability of room type and rate.

We're looking for someone who can identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers. You will also accommodate and document special requests, answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations, and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.

Apart from these responsibilities, you will input and access data in our reservation system, respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests, and set-up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individual.
