Job Role: Hotel Reservations Specialist

  • Responsibilities include handling guest reservations and inquiries from various booking channels.
  • Room allocations, amenities, and special requirements are processed and managed with accuracy.
  • Maintaining accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest preferences is a priority.
  • Exceptional customer service ensures a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process reservations and inquiries from all booking channels efficiently.
  • Pre-arrival checks are conducted to ensure guest history is linked and relevant booking information is updated correctly.
  • No-Shows and late cancellations are followed up on and charges are processed accordingly.
  • Effective communication takes place with Starwood Customer Contact Centres and other teams.
  • Close collaboration with the Reservations team is essential for generating incremental revenue via upselling and promoting hotel services.
  • Group reservations can be managed when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Reservations Agent role is required.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS systems is essential.
  • Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • The ability to multitask and work productively in a fast-paced environment is vital.
