Key Responsibilities

Comply with all aspects of the vessel's safety management system and supporting documents, ensuring that marine standards are followed and the vessel is operated in a safe manner.

Deliver welcome, departure, and safety briefings to guests, as well as onboard commentary.

Assist guests with transferring on and off the vessel/sealegs in a timely and safe manner.

Assist in the training of team members to meet the standards of Journey Beyond/Paspaley and develop, lead, and support crew on a day-to-day basis.

Maintain vessel records to the appropriate standard (logs, maintenance records etc) using the maintenance management system Helm.

Follow associated processes relating to refuelling of the vessel.

About You

A successful candidate will have a strong ability to multitask, high level of attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

They will also possess a strong understanding of the tourism industry, including current trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a flexible attitude.
