We currently have an opportunity for a Ranger (Marine) - Mayala Joint Management to join our team.Under the immediate direction of the Senior Ranger (Marine) Mayala Joint Management, this position:Participates as an alternate member of the Mayala Joint Management Body and liaises directly with Traditional Owner partners to facilitate cultural and operational management strategies.Assists in the management of the Mayala Marine Park within the Buccaneer Archipelago in the West Kimberley district in joint management with the Traditional Owners.Carries out programmed operational activities and field logistics for lands, waters, wildlife, cultural and natural resources under the departments control in the district.Carries out marine park patrols for the purposes of raising public understanding of marine park values, regulations, compliance, management intervention, research and monitoring, as directed.At the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), we have adopted which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
