About Vessel Master Position

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and proactive with a "can do" attitude. You will demonstrate a friendly and approachable demeanor, maintain immaculate personal presentation and be able to adapt and manage priorities to ensure the smooth delivery of the tour.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Comply with all aspects of the vessel's safety management system and supporting documents, ensuring that marine standards are followed, and the vessel is operated in a safe manner.\
  • Deliver welcome, departure and safety briefings to guests, as well as onboard commentary.\
  • Assist guests with transferring on and off the vessel/sealegs in a timely and safe manner.\
  • Assist in the training of team members to meet the standards of Journey Beyond/Paspaley and develop, lead and support crew on a day-to-day basis.\
  • Maintain vessel records to the appropriate standard (logs, maintenance records etc using the maintenance management system Helm).\
  • Follow the associated processes relating to refuelling of the vessel.\
