Behavioural Intervention Specialist

Be a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with challenging behaviours. Join our interdisciplinary team to develop your expertise and skills, and contribute to creating a vision for a life without restrictions.
This role requires you to be curious about behaviours and understanding the reason behind why a person uses challenging behaviours. You will work collaboratively within a team to identify factors affecting behaviour, develop efficient processes, and enhance the capacity of people to make their own life choices.
As an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or a Bachelors Degree qualified Social Worker, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver best-practice, person-centered support to individuals with challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver best-practice, person-centered support to individuals with challenging behaviours.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify factors affecting behaviour and develop efficient processes.
- Enhance the capacity of individuals to make their own life choices and increase their independence.
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
