Job Title: Behavioural Support Practitioner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) across various environments to identify areas for improvement and develop effective strategies for supporting clients.

  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in line with relevant guidelines and regulations, ensuring that client needs are met and goals are achieved.

  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and services.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence-based practice, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Behavioural Support or a related field.

  • Significant experience working with individuals with complex behaviours and needs.

  • Strong understanding of Behaviour Support Planning principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
