About the Role

The Queensland Department of Education is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team. As an Administration Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective and efficient management of our school operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the school leadership team, including preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Manage enrolments, accounts receivable, and other administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve school goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in administration, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High-level organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with OneSchool, Finance, and other relevant software systems.
