We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist - Fixed Income to join our team in Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of financial markets, fixed income products, and operational processes. They will be responsible for providing quality support to our Global Markets business by processing trade validation and settlement of fixed income products, including corporate and government bonds, discount securities, and securities financing transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process trade validation and settlement of fixed income products
  • Collaborate with Sales and Trading teams to resolve operational issues
  • Perform manual payments and fee calculations
  • Settle CBA funding requirements and follow up on unsettled transactions
  • Reconcile daily settlements and ensure audit trails

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in markets or markets operations
  • Familiarity with fixed income, derivative, and commodity products
  • Knowledge of security finance transactions and SWIFT systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
