About the Role

Cimic Group's Thiess business is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at the Mount Pleasant Operation in Muswellbrook, NSW. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for calibrating and servicing our Mobile Processing Units (MPU) and Stemming Trucks on the Blast Crew.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, calibration and servicing of MR Earthmoving equipment
  • Demonstrated experience with Stemming Trucks & MPU (Mobile Processing Units)
  • Current UHL (security clearance) essential
