Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team at Randstad Australia. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct daily inspections and checks to identify potential issues
  • Carry out engine services, including oil changes and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance
Requirements
  • Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic trade qualification
  • Experience working with heavy equipment and diesel engines
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Able to pass a Coal Board Order 43 medical
