Overview:
As a Plant Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of mining machinery. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will be vital in diagnosing and rectifying faults across various site machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify and repair faults on all site machinery, including hydraulic systems.
  • Perform both major and minor servicing on site machines as per operational directives.
  • Execute maintenance tasks and component replacements across all areas relevant to site responsibilities.
  • Carry out comprehensive machine health assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Ensure precise completion of all necessary documentation, including maintenance requests and timesheets.
Candidate Profile:
  • Trade Qualified in Heavy Plant (Cert III Engineering - Diesel).
  • Proven experience in diagnostics and fault-finding.
  • Strong motivation coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity, particularly with heavy machinery.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
