Job Overview

As a Strategic Partnership Leader with Youth Justice, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of collaborative community youth response and diversion initiatives.

This role requires exceptional leadership capabilities, including strategic thinking, decision-making, relationship-building, and accountability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Youth Justice Practice Framework and be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for facilitating partnerships between the department and regional stakeholders
  • Deliver integrated community youth responses and diversions that respect the culture and context of each child, young person, family, and community
  • Represent youth justice at relevant stakeholder meetings, consultation forums, committees, and working groups
  • Foster inclusive engagement with people, communities, and organizations from diverse backgrounds

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, including vision, results-driven approach, accountability, and healthy workplace practices.
