Chef Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations in Prairiewood, NSW.

This full-time role offers a consistent Monday to Friday roster and provides the opportunity to work with a well-established team in a purpose-driven environment.

About the Role:

  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation, site management, stock ordering, and rotation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain high-quality meal service.
  • Lead a small team, providing guidance, development, and leadership opportunities.
  • Assist the broader team as required and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Fitness for Work Certificate (Food Safety Supervisor).
  • Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs.
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management.
  • Strong communication skills and pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
