Database, Systems & Integration Specialist

Full-time, ongoing commencing as soon as possible of by mutual agreement

The Database, Systems & Integration Specialist is responsible for the administration, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of cloud based and on-premise databases, as well as the development of intelligent, user-friendly digital forms and workflows to streamline business processes and support academic and administrative functions. This role ensures data integrity, performance, and security across systems while enabling efficient data capture, reporting and workflow automation through Microsoft and other smart form technologies. The position also assists in the creation of documentation and delivery of training associated with these packages and applications. Working closely with the Applications Manager the role reports to the Head of ICT Operations, then to the Director of Innovation and Technology.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

·  Proven experience in managing SQL and NoSQL databases in both on-premises and Azure cloud environments. Synergetic Database experience highly desirable

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services including Azure SQL Database, Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, and Data Warehousing.

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

·  Strong understanding of integration and automation tools, including scripting (e.g., SQL, PowerShell), and third-party services like WONDE.

·  Demonstrated ability to design and develop digital forms using platforms such as SmartIQ, with advanced logic and backend integrations.

·  Knowledge of Synergetic, Schoolbox, SEQTA, MS Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI and Pages) is highly desirable.
