Database System Specialist

Job Overview:

The Database System Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain existing database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Provide strategic input on database design, performance optimization, and integration with other core systems.
  • Develop and implement data management processes to ensure data quality and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in SQL database administration with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in setting up, managing, and monitoring replicated SQL databases.
  • Excellent knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS.
  • Experience in creating stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Good working knowledge of multiple database types/providers.
