**Asset Management Professional Opportunity**

Our organization is seeking a skilled Asset Management Professional to join our Strategic Asset Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and maintenance of building assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management Oversight
    • Developing comprehensive asset management plans for Council-owned buildings
    • Conducting regular inspections and assessments to monitor the condition of assets
    • Maintaining up-to-date records of building assets, including condition reports, maintenance histories, and valuations
  • Capital Project Coordination
    • Developing capital works programs for Council-owned buildings
    • Assisting in planning and executing capital improvement projects
  • Compliance and Safety Assurance
    • Ensuring all building assets comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
    • Liaising with internal departments, community groups, and external contractors
    • Providing expert advice on asset management to senior management
    • Facilitating community consultations and feedback sessions regarding building assets

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

We require qualifications in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, as well as demonstrated experience in building asset management or facilities management. You should have a strong understanding of asset management principles and practices, excellent project management and organisational skills, and proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
