About the role

  • Project Management: Drive high-profile M&A projects and oversee engagement management, fostering strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Guide and review the work of junior team members, ensuring they develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in their roles.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to strategy development and business initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive growth and success within the team.
  • Represent BDO: Act as an ambassador of the firm, participating in marketing events and staying abreast of the diverse range of services offered by BDO.
  • National Initiatives: Support BDO National M&A team activities and contribute to the development of national strategies and initiatives.
  • Growth: Assist in recruiting and retaining top talent, including developing and training the team to ensure continued excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of experience in lead M&A advisory, backed by CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, and a drive to deliver exceptional outcomes are essential qualities for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately AU$150,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
