About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Finance Lead and Account Manager to ensure financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly journals, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments for the Trust account.
  • Audit Support: Assist with annual audits and compile financial reporting packs for the Trust account.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain the Finance inbox, ensuring timely responses to vendor queries and accurate invoice management.
  • Accounts Receivable: Provide administrative support for accounts receivable, including updating AR templates and assisting in invoice creation.
  • Financial Analysis: Collaborate on monthly financial and client reporting, yearly PPM reconciliation, and reactive billing files.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with WHSE policies, contractual obligations, and BGIS business systems.
  • Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely reports to support finance and operational needs.

About the Salary:
