Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to support our financial/accounting and general coordination activities.

Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Management: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Transaction Verification: Update and verify that transactions are recorded in the correct ledgers, including day books, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
  • General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the books are balanced and ready for trial balance.
  • Posting Process Checks: Perform partial checks on the posting process to ensure data integrity.
  • Financial Reporting: Record data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements as required.
  • Cash Flow Management: Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.
General Coordination Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support: Coordinate operational activities among internal and external departments.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers, respond to complaints, and relay relevant comments to supervisors.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Professional Qualification: Ideally studying for Professional Qualification (CPA/CA).
  • Payroll Skills: Proficiency in Payroll functions and Award Interpretation.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication Skills: Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Degree: BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
