Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Community Engagement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with local community organisations, regional and state government, and other community-minded organisations to generate opportunities for people with disabilities to access our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies to promote our services and build partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnership with local community organisations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, government officials, and other partners.
  • Develop and manage schedules of support agreements and tenancy agreements in accordance with NDIS guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to individuals with disabilities and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business objectives and deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a human services environment.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS price guide and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Empathetic and positive approach to working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to implement and comply with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
