Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering the accreditation and access programme on time and to the required standards. This includes coordinating and supporting the Venue Accreditation Managers in managing the accreditation centres, client process, and access.

You will work closely with the Venue Accreditation Manager(s) in Perth ACR Venues to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve coordinating the Accreditation Centre operations from logistics, FFE, and technology, building successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and managing the client accreditation/registration process.

You will also be responsible for coordinating secure information and data submitted by client groups during the tournament, assisting the Venue Accreditation Managers in training, rostering, and managing volunteers, delivering the production, distribution, and scheduling of accreditation devices, and finalising the requirements for the Access Control Boards and ensuring they are displayed at every Accreditation checkpoint.

Additionally, you will assist the Venue Accreditation Managers in finalising accreditation and access documentation and support the accreditation team in all operations and client processes where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Background and experience in accreditation and/or working in venue management or at events.
  • Understanding of accreditation and access management operations and its integration in accreditation within venue operations.
  • Knowledge of venue operations (stadium).
  • Knowledge of developing procedures and policies for access at venues and translating these into effective operational delivery.
  • Ability to manage and operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple projects concurrently and under pressure.
  • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating across a range of operational areas.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
  • Understanding of project management within a venue or major event environment with differing stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and openness to shifting demands and priorities.
  • IT skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and familiarity with MS Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint.
  • High level of flexibility to meet changing priorities and variable working duties.
  • Ability to sustain high-level performance and problem-solving with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
