
Accreditation Coordinator

We are seeking an Accreditation Coordinator to support our Patient Safety and Quality Unit in achieving accreditation readiness across the network.
About the Role- Coordinate and implement activities to ensure the organisation is fully prepared for accreditation assessments, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Partner with Quality Managers, Coordinators, and standard leads to conduct gap analyses, monitor adherence, and implement strategies aligned with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, promoting patient safety and quality care.
- Assist in reviewing quality data and incident reports to identify trends and support the development of improvement initiatives, driving continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate, current, and compliant documentation, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Patient Safety and Quality Unit, enhancing overall performance and efficiency.
- Hold tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in healthcare, health administration, or Quality & Safety, demonstrating a strong foundation in quality management principles.
- Demonstrate analytical skills to interpret standards, accreditation requirements, and policy directives, applying critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, promoting effective relationships and teamwork.
- Exhibit strong organisational and administrative skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and producing accurate documentation within tight timeframes, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
