Job Description:

This is a 6 month contract role based in either Canberra or Sydney with regular travel required.

The role will work with colleagues within the team and across AEMO to facilitate AEMO's extensive engagement with government across the organisation.

  • Support execution of government engagement strategic objectives
  • Establish and build on relationships of trust and credibility with governments.
  • Support preparation, organisation and review of papers, briefings, policies, and reports.
  • Monitor and report on emerging government issues; manage government-related events, issues, and briefings; and be the point of contact for government
